Athens Pride, the festival that celebrates lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transsexual pride, will stage a colourful and lively parade through Athens, Greece to highlight the event on 5 June 2010.
The highlight of Athens Pride 2010 will be the famous Pride parade, a powerful display of difference and acceptance. With the colourful rainbow as a backdrop, political organisations, associations and thousands of friends will march to the centre of the capital to celebrate, express pride and assert their rights. For more than an hour, the historical centre of Athens will be transformed into an exciting mosaic of images, sounds and colours.
