Sophia Kokosalaki (born 1972) is a Greek fashion designer with her own label based in London. A graduate of London's Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, she was chosen to design the opening and closing ceremonial outfits for the 2004 Summer Olympic Games, which were staged in her home town of Athens.

Kokosalaki was born and brought up in Greece where she studied literature at the University of Athens. After her career had been launched by UK Vogue magazine, she received the Elle Designer award and Art Foundation Award for Fashion in 2002 and New Generation Designer award in 2004, and receives regular editorial from Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and W magazines. In autumn 2006, she was appointed Creative Director of the Vionnet fashion house but resigned in May 2007, stating that she would concentrate on the development of her own label.Her trademark style often features classic Grecian draping combined with handcrafted elements. Her specialty is soft flowing dresses, and work with knitwear and leather.

cherry cherry lady

If you like cherry (reminds you of the visits to grandmother's house ...)then try this at home

 Here are some simple instructions to follow          

necessary component:

- in addition to the cherry and sugar - the strong sun.

- 200 grams cherry (washed,  seeds off) 

                                 - 150 grams of sugar.

 let the sun for 3 (summer) months to "cook" the material.

3 months later , if the sugar isn't completely melted , stir it up a bit and fill the bottles with (about 700 grams) cognac.

Then leave another month for the material to "tie" and the cherry is  ready!
